Whether you listen to the VoiceOver for accessibility, because you’re more of an auditory learner or so you can grab some movement while we’re together—it will consistently be an option.
[|━|] I believe all life’s questions can be answered in the weight room.
That when when we intentionally invest in ourselves through Picking Up Heavy Things & Putting Them Back Down we create more than physical power—we uncover the answers to life’s challenges and emerge with a deeper understanding of our truest potential.
[|━|] I believe the act of PUHT & PTBD teaches us the rewards of creating consistency in a world which applauds short-term bursts of intensity.
PUHT & PTBD reminds us when we tear things down or they appear to be falling apart is precisely when we are offered an opportunity to rebuild, repair and return stronger.
[|━|] I believe PUHT & PTBD illustrates the significance of proving to ourselves we can hoist the heavy things. It shows us when we learn to trust ourselves we already possess the knowing when it’s time to set those weighty things back down. It reminds us when we make things heavier and harder *on purpose* everything else in life seems easier.
[|━|] I believe PUHT & PTBD teaches us only through opening ourselves up to the painful process of transformational change do we eliminate the greater danger of existing in a plateau.
[|━|] I believe, whether we PUHT & PTBD alone or with a group, in the power of connection created through the common language of the iron, the shared journey of progress, and the camaraderie of pushing our limits and living the same commitment…even if we never exchange a word.
[|━|] I believe PUHT & PTBD reminds us we *can* face failure outside the weight room as we are committed to finding failure each session…each set…inside those walls.
As we push ourselves until we cannot succeed with weights we bring this same fearlessness in the face of potential defeat to the rest of what we do.
[|━|] I believe PUHT & PTBD reminds us too much of a good thing is still too much and how powerfully our choices and plans drive our progress.
[|━|] I believe in the philosophy of relentless persistence PUTH & PTBD demands we embrace.
[|━|] I believe the very act of PUHT & PTBD is powerful blueprint for consistency which extends into all facets of life.
Well said, Carla — and you know we think alike about this. I've let a number of things lately interfere with my consistency for PUHT & PTBD, but I'm getting back in my longtime groove now. Thanks for adding fuel to that fire.
