Of course I love this movie, but Iβd never really considered how it ties into consistency!! Brilliant. And now itβs on our must see tv for today Iβll weave in your lessons for the others within my domicile. π
Excellent reminder to keep on keeping on β¦ I hadn't thought much about how my actions might affect, or even benefit, others. And, of course, that's not the reason for behaving with consistency. It's definitely a perk though!
I used Groundhog Day in my doctoral seminar to illustrate that people can use experience to improve their knowledge and make better decisions when they beginβas we usually doβwith incomplete understanding of what we should do.
You captured the internals and I focused on the externals.
β art of Mastering the Mundane through radical consistencyβ β¦. Quotable. I saw 11 clients last week and in every single session there was a βhuhβ pause/moment where each person realized that what they were setting out to do was achievable through what seemed like the smallest repeatable actions. Itβs radical in this age of grand, black-and-white actions! Thanks for another wonderful piece, Carla.
YAY! to this and YAY to our zoom soon (because that's happening right??)
And YAY to my being the Heather Cox Richardson of CONSISTENCY because whatever your political beliefs it's a strange GHD like time and we all need the small manageable steps.
