The Miz, The Mrs & Substack Live
TL;DR? April 3rd 9am central Substack Live only via substack app
Once upon a time in the wild frontier of the early blogosphere, where comment sections were battlegrounds and blogrolls were sacred scrolls of allegiance, two legendary figures emerged from their keyboards: Carla "MizFit" Birnberg and Sue "Mrs. Fatass" Olear.
MizFit was known throughout the land for her no-nonsense fitness wisdom and panoply of protein shakes that could power a small village. Her biceps glistened with the tears of intimidated dumbbells, and her inbox overflowed with questions about squat form and self-actualization.
Mrs. Fatass, with her razor-sharp wit and take-no-prisoners honesty, carved out her own corner of the internet where authenticity reigned supreme. Her blog posts could make you laugh until your core got a better workout than any plank challenge #RememberThose?! ever could.
Their paths first crossed in '08, where they found themselves sitting side by side at a rickety conference table, sharing a single functioning outlet for dying laptops.
"Nice shoes," said Mrs. Fatass.
"Nice blog name," replied MizFit.
And just like that, a friendship was born.
They dominated the Blogger Talent Shows with interpretive dance routines about internet trolls. They created secret handshakes at wellness conferences. They were the Thelma and Louise of the wellness blogging world, minus the cliff-diving finale.
Through marriages ending, children, career changes, and the slow death of RSS feeds, they remained constants in each other's lives.
When MizFit needed someone to tell her salacious secrets: Mrs. Fatass was there. When Mrs. Fatass needed someone to talk her down from responding to negative comments with increasingly creative expletives, MizFit was on speed dial.
And now, after years of whispered rumors and hopeful fans, the dynamic duo is back! Not with a blog. Not with a vlog. But with something even better, a podcast where consistency isn't just a buzzword, but a way of life.
"We realized people need to hear our voices," MizFit explains, flexing slightly for emphasis.
"Also, typing takes too long and neither of us can figure out TikTok," adds Mrs. Fatass.
Their podcast promises to deliver the same messy, irreverent, flawed realness that made them internet legends just with better microphones and fewer typos.
So, dust off your old bookmark folder, cancel your plans, and prepare to witness the renaissance of a blogosphere friendship that survived dial-up internet, the rise and fall of Google+, and that weird phase when everyone was posting pictures of their lunch.
Miz and Mrs. are back, and they're not here to make you perfect they're here to remind you that showing up, consistently, just as you are, is more than enough.
Podcast drops soon.
Starting with a live tomorrow morning on the Substack app.
Don't be late. Mrs. Fatass hates tardiness almost as much as she hates burpees.
😍😍😍
